It’s no secret that car salespeople are among the least trusted group of professionals, but how do they compare against other industries that currently also currently deal with trust issues from consumers in the United States? A new poll conducted in September asked respondents to select which profession they trusted the least among:

  • Journalists
  • Lawyers
  • Police Officers
  • Clergy
  • Car Salespeople

Not surprisingly, car salespeople were easily ranked #1 with 41% of participants choosing their group. Journalists were the 2nd least trusted with just over 23% of participants choosing their profession as the least trusted. Lawyers took the 3rd spot with 15%, followed by police officers (almost 11%) and clergy (10%).
